A school administration in Utah told parents to control their chilren's internet usage after students found that a teacher was posting pictures of her bodybuilding achievements on Instagram.

Parents and school officials in the US state of Utah, known for its conservative Mormon population, demanded that a teacher remove revealing photos on her Instagram account, Daily Star reported.

The teacher, Mindi Jensen, is a bodybuilder who shared photos of herself on Instagram to inspire other women.

"Why are my rights being taken away and not the child's right? It's between the parent and the child. Put restrictions on your children," she said.

The photos are posted under a fake name, but her students were still able to find the account. Now school officials have threatened to fire her unless she removes the offending images.

The teacher reportedly became a bodybuilder to cope with depression. She is recently divorced and has four children, according to her social media profile.

The school ended up agreeing with the teacher, according to ABC Utah, saying that it would conduct training for parents over their children's internet usage.

Internet usage is a growing issue for school teachers. In 2013, a dance teacher in Russia's Samara was fired after students found that she spent evenings teaching striptease, and published videos of her dances online.
