TRIPOLI (Sputnik) – Libya’s oil production is nearing 1 million barrels a day, Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Accord Fayez Sarraj told Sputnik.

"We achieved significant successes in increasing oil production. When we arrived in Tripoli [in March 2016], it stood at less than 300,000 barrels of oil. Now we are nearing 1 million barrels a day. We consider this to be very positive," Sarraj said.
