MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to the BBC, the incident happed during Friday prayers. Hundreds of people were in the building at the time, with some believed to be still trapped under rubble.
Most of the casualties were construction workers.
The media outlet reported that the engineer on the refurbishment project was arrested over suspicion of negligence.
