    Two Belgian nationals died in the recent attack at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the Malian capital Bamako, Belgium’s Foreign Minister Didier Reynders confirmed on Saturday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "A second Belgian unfortunately died in the attack in Bamako. My thoughts are with his family, which was notified, and his friends," Reynders wrote on his Twitter page.

    The first Belgian victim was identified on Friday as Geoffrey Dieudonne, a parliament member from the Belgian region of Wallonia.

    Alleged Islamist gunmen took 170 people hostage at the hotel on Friday, most of them foreigners. Malian police laid siege to the building and freed around a hundred of people. At least 19 were killed, including six Russians.
