    All 20 Indians were released from the Mali hotel taken by gunmen.

    NEW DELHI (Sputnik) – All nationals of India who were held hostage in a hotel in the Malian capital of Bamako by jihadists were freed safely, the Indian Ambassador in Mali told Sputnik.

    “All 20 Indians rescued safely,” Ajay Kumar Sharma said.

    Earlier in the day, gunmen captured a Radisson hotel in the capital and took 170 people hostages. Malian security forces started storming the hotel.
