MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The inauguration of 36 ministers and junior ministers took place in Buhari's official residence in the Nigerian capital of Abuja, according to The Nation newspaper.
The new government of Nigeria consist of less ministries than previously, as some of the posts have been merged by the president.
The process of forming the government has taken Buhari five months since his election as Nigeria's president in May, when he vowed to counter the most urgent challenges confronting the nation, including the Boko Haram insurgency and poverty.
Nigeria, one of Africa's leading economies along with South Africa, is the largest oil exporter in Africa.
