KHARTOUM (Sputnik) — Two Russian empoyees of an airline contracted by the United Nations, who were kidnapped in Sudan in January, are alive, the local authorities are continuing efforts to secure their release, Sudanese Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Ali Sadiq said Thursday.
"Two Russians and a Sudanese engineer, who is also with them, are in good health, not harm was caused to them," Sadiq said in a statement.
