    Last Remaining Ebola Patient in Liberia Dies

    A Liberian woman known to be the West African country’s only remaining Ebola patient, died Friday at care facility in Monrovia, the head of the country’s Ebola response team Dr. Francis Kettah said.

    The case was the first reported in weeks, coming right after the Liberian government had declared the country Ebola-free. The disease has claimed the lives of over 10,000 in Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone. 

    "We have been able to trace the people she came in contact with," Dr. Kettah told Reuters. "We call on everyone to follow the Ebola preventative measures."
