Boko Haram Goes Global: Militants Attack Niger for First Time

Boko Haram militants attacked Niger for the first time.

Boko Haram launched an attack on the town of Bosso in Niger on Friday, AFP reports.

“We can hear the sound of weapons all around the town, often very near our windows. There is the noise of heavy weapons and of light arms, making our houses shake,” a local resident told AFP.
