No injuries or casualties were reported in the mishap, and Indian Railways Traffic Inspector Y.K. Jha said that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
A fire broke out in the engine and two coaches of a passenger train going from Saharanpur, a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, to the capital city Delhi on Saturday during its halt in Daurala state's Meerut district.
