Two others were injured in the attack, local media reported.
An Israeli man was killed as a result of a shooting that took place in the northern West Bank on Thursday, local media reported, citing emergency services.
The victim was shot in a car with two other passengers, both of whom were wounded by broken window glass, Haaretz reported, quoting the Magen David Adom emergency service.
The man who was fatally wounded was shot in the neck, paramedics said, adding that he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The IDF said it was investigating the shooting. A number of IDF troops were called to the scene, blocking off the area in an effort to detain the suspected shooters.
"After the report of the shooting, a preliminary investigation showed that it was the shelling of a car near the Chumash outpost in the area of the district brigade "Samaria". The wounded are receiving medical care on the spot. IDF forces are searching the area for suspects," the IDF wrote.
A photo from the scene of the attack was shared on Twitter.
