Bitcoin Exceeds $60,000 First Time Since April

According to Coindesk, the key cryptocurrency’s price touched $60,300 earlier in the day.
The Bitcoin cryptocurrency has exceeded $60,000 for the first time since 18 April, Coindesk reported.
After reaching the $60,000 mark, Bitcoin plunged a bit to $59,855.46 (at 14:37 GMT).
Launched in 2009, Bitcoin is the world’s first decentralised cryptocurrency, a type of digital asset that uses public-key cryptography to record, sign and send transactions over a special technology - the Bitcoin blockchain.
