The charismatic solo singer has come through a tough patch smiling as he showcases his many and varied talents with this new release.
To that perennial metaphysical question, "Is there life after Monsta X?" former band member Wonho has conclusively provided the answer "Yes!" - and, what's more, there's nothing to feel blue about.
Wonho, born Lee Ho-seok, released his second mini-album 'Blue Letter', on 14 September, which he describes as "a message for those who are having a hard time". He gave fans a peak with the lead song 'Blue', although he says his favourite song on the album is 'No Text No Call'.
'Blue' is a pop dance song that combines the fresh rhythm guitar, bass, and drum and brings the message of hope, presented in a playful music video in which Wonho appears on a football field and has a good time hanging out with friends.
'Blue Letter' has a total of seven tracks and Wonho played a great part in the writing, composition and arrangement of most of the album's tracks.
Wonho left Starship Entertainment's Monsta X in October 2019 after allegations were made that he'd illegally used marijuana when he was younger.
But, nothing daunted, he has come out at the other end of this ordeal a better, more thoughtful performer and 'Blue Letter' stands testament to that fact: it was ranked third on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, proving Wonho's global appeal, and it entered the Top 10 in five countries - including Mexico, Brazil, and the Philippines - in the iTunes Top 100 album chart.
It goes without saying that fans have been filled with joy as they support the triumphant comeback of their favourite idol and share their reaction on Twitter.
