Protests Against COVID-19 Health Pass Continue in Paris

President Emmanuel Macron announced new COVID-19 containment measures on 12 July, including sanitary passes, which indicate if the bearer has been vaccinated or has a negative coronavirus test.

Health passes have been required since 21 July for museums, theatres and movies, as well as at festivals, amusement parks, and all public events attended by more than fifty people.
According to Johns Hopkins University, the death toll in France has risen to 113,472 people and the number of detected cases to more than 6.6 million people.
