Having parted ways with FC Barcelona, Lionel Messi signed a 2+1 contract with French football club Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
Paris Saint-Germain football club officials are holding a press conference in Parc des Princes stadium in Paris after Argentine football star Lionel Messi accepted a two-year contract with the club.
On Tuesday, six-time Golden Ball winner Lionel Messi officially became a Paris Saint-Germain player.
The 34-year-old Argentine striker, who spent practically his entire career at Barcelona, signed a 2+1 contract with a reported annual net salary of 35 million euros ($41 million), which includes bonuses.
Last week, the Barcelona football club announced it would not sign a new contract with Messi, citing financial and structural obstacles.
