While some restrictions were relaxed this summer, Germans still have to wear masks in public places and comply to other anti-pandemic measures.
Sputnik is live from Berlin, Germany, where COVID sceptics are holding several rallies, protesting against coronavirus restrictions and urging to "restore people's fundamental rights". Counter-protests by opposing groups are also expected to be held in the city.
Previously, thousands hit the streets of the German capital and many of them clashed with police to protest against the pandemic regulations imposed by the government.
