Best Friends? Puppy and Monkey Caught in Bizarre Situation

We have got used to seeing examples of unusual animal friendship between a dog and a duckling, a monkey and a bird, a cat and a sheep...But this pair's interaction looks so unusual that it leaves us guessing about what really is happening between this puppy and this monkey.

A video recently shared on YouTube shows a monkey and a little dog somewhere on the lawn in Bien Hoa, Vietnam. 

The author of the video says that these two are buddies and that the monkey is very affectionate towards the puppy.

However, some viewers have expressed doubts about this.

"I fail to see the "best friends" part," one of them wrote, while another noted: "Poor dog!"
