TEL AVIV (Sputnik) - Israeli military opened fire on three individuals who threw Molotov cocktails and stones at a car in the northern West Bank, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on 25 July.
"Last night, the Israel Defense Forces saw three suspects throwing Molotov cocktails and stones at a car driving southwest of [the city of] Jenin," the IDF said in a statement.
Since Naftali Bennett took office, settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem have pushed harder for proposals for construction and the displacement of Palestinian families to be accelerated.
Earlier in June, the Times of Israel reported at least 14 small marches in settlements across the West Bank under the slogan of “fighting for state lands,” demanding an end to Palestinian construction in Area C, a part of the West Bank under the jurisdiction of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).
