Earlier in the day, a Russian An-26 plane travelling from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Palana went missing, before its debris was located a few kilometres away from the runway. All passengers and crew are presumed dead.
A video showing the site where an An-26 plane crashed into a cliff in Kamchatka has been shared on social media.
In the video, filmed and distributed by the Russian emergency services from a helicopter, parts of the mountain wall, as well as trees growing on top of it, were completely charred by the apparent impact from the airplane.
Debris of the crash can also be seen on the short clip.

An An-26 plane crashed earlier in the day in Russia's Kamchatka Territory, killing all 22 passengers and 6 crew members on board, according to preliminary data by the local emergency services.
