On 18 June, three Euro 2020 matches were held, with the most attention focused on the oldest face-off, between England and Scotland. Croatia and the Czech Republic ended the meeting with a 1:1 draw. Sweden and Slovakia from the E group battled and the Swedes won with a 1: 0 score.

The British national football team drew with Scotland on Friday in the match of the second round group stage of the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship.

The game was hosted at the Wembley Stadium in London.

Both teams belong to the D group, that also includes the national teams of Croatia and the Czech Republic.

The first and second places in the quartet table are currently held by England and the Czech Republic, with 4 points each. The two teams are expected to meet in the third round of the group stage. Third and fourth places are shared by the Croats and the Scots, respectively, with one point each after two rounds.
