The death toll from Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling has risen to 115, with 600 people injured, the Palestinian enclave's Health Ministry said on Friday.

Supporters of Palestinians are rallying in Ankara to protest against Israel's hostilities in the Gaza Strip.

The conflict – which is the worst in the region in years – started on Monday evening. Palestinian militants have since launched about 2,000 rockets into Israel, while Tel Aviv has retaliated with multiple strikes targeting the Hamas movement.
