Earlier in the day, an exchange of fire was reported at the Indonesian National Police headquarters. As a result, one person was reported dead in the skirmish.

The police in Indonesia have eliminated a female Daesh* supporter who attacked the national police headquarters earlier in the day, police chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo told journalists on Wednesday.

The head of the force said that the 25-year-old radicalised woman was a "lone wolf". He said that she had posted a picture of the Daesh* flag in her social media hours before the attack.

Gunshots have been reported at the Indonesian national police headquarters in the capital Jakarta earlier in the day. The local broadcaster TV One said that one person was found dead at the scene. Another TV channel - Major TV - reported that the dead body found on the premises was the shooter. Per the broadcaster, the perpetrator was wearing a black veil and long black clothes.
