One person was killed and at least three others were injured in an explosion in the town of Saravan in south-eastern Iran, Tasnim reported, citing a statement issued by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

At least one person was killed and two others, including a woman, were injured in the incident, according to unconfirmed reports.

According to IRGC, the explosion was carried out by a terrorist group "affiliated with the global arrogance" (this is a term Iran uses to describe the US and its allies).
Saravan is located about 40 kilometres away from the border with Pakistan.
