Yet sometimes they can behave like friends if reared in the same family and their enmity melts into thin air.
The fact that cats and dogs can be as playful as good friends can be seen from this happy video where a corgi is playfully pawing a fat grey cat on a treadmill against the backdrop of an empty food bowl.
A video posted on Instagram shows the two seemingly fighting over treats that have mysteriously disappeared and the dog is now playfully bashing the cat, probably wondering, "Where did all the delicious food go?"
