Watch Me, Boston Dynamics! Boston Terrier Acts Like Key-Operated Toy

Before there were robot dogs, there were wind-up toys, sometimes involving a key. While it may be obvious that AI is allowing for more life-like robo-pets, this doggo has managed to pretend to be an automaton pretty well. Will we be able to tell the difference in the future?

A fun video of a Boston Terrier being 'operated' like a toy is going viral on social media.

The video posted on Instagram shows the dog quietly sitting on the floor as its owner pretends to ‘wind up’ his dog with a key.

The moment the owner finishes winding it up, the Boston Terrier gets afraid of the motor sound and starts running here and there on the bed as if it was a toy, without realising what has actually happened.
