The 35-year-old Juventus striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has tested positive for the COVID-19 infection, Portugal's Football Federation said.
According to the statement on the organisation's website, Ronaldo does not have any symptoms and remains in isolation.
"Following the positive case, the remaining players underwent new tests this Tuesday morning, all with a negative result, and are available to Fernando Santos for training this afternoon, in the City of Football," the statement reads.
Ronaldo will have to miss Wednesday's UEFA Nations League match against Sweden, the statement added.
On Sunday, the striker played for Portugal against France in the Nations League.
