The leadership and members of the party Golden Dawn, which lost all of its seats in parliament during the recent elections, were charged with forming a criminal organisation, murder, conspiracy to murder, possession of weapons and racist violence, facing sentences of up to 20 years if convicted.

Labour unions, pro-migrant, and anti-fascist groups hold a rally outside a court in Athens as judges announced the guilty verdicts in the five-year trial against members of the party Golden Dawn. Head of the party Nikos Michaloliakos, several former MPs, and other defendants, 68 in total, were accused of organising the 2013 murder of rapper Pavlos Fyssas (also known as "Killah P") and setting up multiple attacks against their opponents.
