US movie star Dwayne Johnson, 48, known as 'The Rock', is famous for his roles in The Scorpion King (2002), Hercules (2014), San Andreas (2015), Rampage (2018), and the Jumanji franchise.

The 48-year-old Johnson said on Friday that he ripped down his own front gate after a power outage caused by a severe storm made it inoperable.

"I pushed, pulled, and ripped the gate completely off myself. Tore it out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics, and threw it on the grass", the star wrote on Instagram.

He added that before he made such a decision he “made some calls to see how fast I can get the gate tech on site", but he did not have enough time to wait for electricians, as he knew that he had "hundreds of production crew members waiting for me to come to work so we can start our day”.

"My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later — and they were apparently, ‘in disbelief and equally scared’ as to how I ripped it off”, Johnson said.

'The Rock' is taking part in the shooting of the upcoming Hollywood superhero film 'Black Adam', which is scheduled to be released at the end of 2021.
