Earlier in the day, judge David Re said that there was no evidence of either Hezbollah leadership or Syrian government involvement in the killing of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Live from Beirut this Tuesday as a UN-backed tribunal in the Netherlands is delivering its ruling on the killing of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Hariri, who symbolised the reconstruction of the country following the 1975-1990 civil war, was killed on 14 February 2005 in a bomb attack on his motorcade.

Besides the politician, the explosion also killed 21 others and injured 226.
