Protests have swept across Belarus following the outcome of the presidential vote in the country that saw the incumbent president Alexander Lukashenko secure his sixth term in the office he has occupied since 1994.

US actor and martial artist Chuck Norris has made a video address to the incumbent Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko that has been shared on social media.

The 80-year-old Walker, Texas Ranger star filmed himself surrounded by the images of weapon-wielding movie characters he portrayed.

"You know, when I slice onions, onions cry. So if you don’t stop what you are doing now, then I will come to one of your residences and make you cry", Norris said referring to the president as 'Sasha Zero Percent' and 'Mister Cockroach'.

The video was originally recorded through the Cameo service, which allows people to order various videos from celebrities for a fee.
