MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said Tuesday it suspected Ivan Safronov, an adviser to the head of the Russian space agency, of working for one of NATO intelligence services.
"Working for one of the NATO special services, Safronov collected classified information about defenсe cooperation, defence and security of Russia and handed them over to its representative," the FSB said, adding that Safronov had been detained.

According to Roscosmos, the detention of Safronov is not related to his work for the space agency. Before Roscosmos, Safronov worked for Vedomosti and Kommersant newspapers where he was covering all the topics related to the military and space.
