Berlin's Museum Island Welcomes Visitors After Weeks of Closure Due to COVID-19 Pandemic - Video
Four of the most famous venues belonging to the Berlin State Museums - the Old Museum, the Old National Gallery, the Pergamon Museum and the Painting Gallery - will open their doors to visitors.
Sputnik invites you to take a tour of Berlin’s Museum Island, where visitors are allowed for the first time in weeks after some of the coronavirus restrictions have been scaled back amid a drop in the rate of active COVID-19 cases.
Visitors and personnel will be required to wear face coverings and maintain a 1.5-metre distance from each other.
According to the latest update by the World Health Organisation, Germany has 169,575 confirmed cases and 7,417 fatalities from the coronavirus.
