Spain's COVID-19 Cases Rise to 195,944 - Health Ministry

According to health officials, the country's coronavirus death toll is up to 20,453 on Sunday from 20,043 the previous day.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Spain has increased to 195,944 on Sunday from 191,726 on Saturday, the country's health ministry said.

The death toll from the infection rose by 410 on 19 April, which is down from 565 on 18 April, bringing the total to 20,453 fatalities, according to the ministry.

According to the World Health Organisation, the global death toll from coronavirus currently stands at 148,749, and the total number of confirmed cases has exceeded 2, 203,927.
