The coronavirus pandemic that has already left over 1.6 million people infected and led to more than 100,000 deaths, has reshaped the way people are handling normally-scheduled mass public events.

Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church, is delivering his traditional Easter message and Urbi et Orbi blessing to the entire world; the ceremonies are being held without the physical presence of the faithful due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The ceremonies are being streamed live from St. Peter's Square on the Vatican Media YouTube channel, radio and TV.
