On 26 January all Armies (the official name for BTS fans) were ready to tweet with all their might to support their favourite band and share the historical moment - the first Korean act in the history of Grammys and collaboration with Lil Nas X.
But instead of celebrating fans were unhappily surprised by the short-lived appearance by BTS on stage, whereas they had expected at least a solo by the band based on their accomplishments in the music field.
Not a BTS fan but Grammy's are really maximizing their BTS clout, they put BTS name in front bigger than Lil Nas X and BRC and yet they only give them a background role, WHAT A DISRESPECT. https://t.co/32o3TxslPS

@RecordingAcad Not giving BTS a solo stage was a severe missed opportunity. To say your organization was short sighted on this is an understatement. You really missed the mark and should question if you really have your thumb on the pulse of the music world. #bts #BTS #ARMY

Grammy pushed bts, a 7 member group back and gave them 30 seconds to perform a short song with other people for this exact tweet to surface more. https://t.co/qXHFMIG2Se

However, despite the short performance, many fans congratulated BTS for achieving their dream of standing on the Grammy stage and hoped that next year they would see their favs nominated.
they have plenty of time, to do more grammy performances in the future. we're so proud of them. @bts_twt #BTS pic.twitter.com/BCpGoiHYqt
