Moose on the Loose: Little Calf Struggles in Stream

An adult moose and her calf have been caught on camera in northern Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park, which spans the Continental Divide and is made up of protected mountains, forests, and alpine tundra.

In the video, a moose cow is crossing a river, with her calf following just behind. In the middle of the river, the baby moose seems to lose its footing and get caught in the current. The stream looks to be moving pretty fast, but luckily the little calf was able to regain its posture and make it to the other side of the river.
