Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), an alliance of the BLF, BLA and BRG Baloch armed groups, has reportedly claimed responsibility for the Ormara attack.

According to a Pakistani official, gunmen have ambushed a bus and killed 14 passengers on highway in the country's southwest.

Around 15-20 unidentified gunmen in camouflage uniforms reportedly stopped five or six buses travelling between Karachi and Gwadar, according to Dawn, a Pakistani newspaper.

"Those who were targeted carried identification cards of the Pakistan Navy and Coast Guards, and they were only killed after they were identified," said Baloch Khan, the BRAS spokesperson.

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly condemned the deadly attack in Buzi Top area and ordered to bring the perpetrators to justice. According to local media reports, Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), an alliance of the BLF, BLA and BRG Baloch armed groups, has reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack.

In early April, at least 16 people including one Frontier Corps soldier were killed and 13 others injured in an explosion in the Pakistani city of Quetta, near a residential area where minority Shiite Muslims live.
