A bus has exploded in the centre of Stockholm in the Klaratunneln tunnel, British Express reported citing a management operator at the Stockholm Fire Department. The bus was engulfed by fire and emited large amounts of black smoke, seen from across the city.

All traffic from the centre of Stockholm have been reportedly redirected. According to Stockholm police, the bus likely exploded after the gas tank on its roof collided with a height limit sign at the entrance of a tunnel. The police added that bus driver suffered only minor injuries due to the incident.

"I heard a big bang first and then several smaller ones", eyewitness Björn Wallentin, cited by Express, said.
