Police in the city of Torrance, California are currently investigating a shooting that took place near the Gable House Bowl entertainment centre and have urged residents to stay away from the place. According to a Tweet by the local police department, there have been multiple victims as a result of the shooting.
Reports of shots fired with multiple victims down. T P D is on scene. Investigation is ongoing. Please stay away from the area.

Torrance police later reported that 3 persons had been killed and 4 more injured as a result of the incident.
"Investigators are currently conducting a follow-up investigation, and are working to identify the suspect(s) involved", the statement by the police department said.
One of the witnesses, Jesus Perez, who was inside the Gable House Bowl at the time of the incident, told the LA Times that he heard four gunshots. He added that he had heard that "two people got shot". Perez noted that a big fight had preceded the shooting.
"We heard there was a big fight before that. We just ran into the bar and we just took cover because after the fight we heard pop pop", he said.

An anonymous person has confirmed to the LA Times that a fight had taken place prior to shooting, but said that there had been nine shots.

Brandon Tyre, interviewed by the LA Times, said that he was also inside the centre when the incident took place. He confirmed that a fight had broken out first and was then followed by shooting. Tyre said his brother had been wounded in the chest as a result of the incident.
Brandon Tyre, 31, said he was inside celebrating a friend’s birthday, bowling when a fight broke out and then he heard gun shots. When he looked, his brother had been shot in the chest. He’s waiting to hear what happened to his brother who remains inside the Gable House Bowl.

A video of the aftermath from the shooting has emerged on social media, showing police providing first aid to the victims. Judging by the video, those wounded were in the bowling area of the centre.

The man, who posted the original video from the scene, later wrote that he heard that some people had died as a result of the gunfire, while some had only been injured.
