Nearly 500 French paramedics mobilized and 2,000 are expected to join them in Paris amid rallies against medical transportation financing reforms, according to BFM TV.
The protest was triggered by a reform that came into effect on October, 1, requiring that medical transportation expenses be paid for by medical facilities, not the state.
