Fantasy Landscape: Magnificent Sandstorm Covers Syria's Deir ez-Zor

Sandstorms are deadly and devastating – but just like many other perilous convulsions of nature, they can be astonishing and even beautiful. This sandstorm was filmed near the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor.

Just look at the air's vibrant orange color, so deep that it's sometimes impossible to understand where the sky ends and what might lie just a few steps in front of you. It's both an incredibly fascinating and certainly terrifying sight to behold!
