It sounds like the war coalition is discussing between them who is going to be attacking which target, how they can choose targets designed to keep Russia out of the action before a final go ahead in tonights call to May and Macron by Trump. I hope Russia doesn't weaken its resolve to support Syria and continues on a path of outright resistance to illegal action by the western powers. By quoting a figure of 'only' eight targets compared to twenty or so discussed earlier in the week it is as though they are saying to the rest of the world...'look how reasonable we are being...meet us halfway...allow us to carry out this limited strike without any risk of escalation ...and everyone is happy.' Absolutely diabolical. If there is an attack tonight or tomorrow, I do hope that the Iranians have been given permission by Syria and Russia to target the US base at al-Tanf and destroy it.

Isnogud, Must admit, I was wondering if they would be safe, because, who would that benefit? No doubt, Russia is well aware. The OPCW have claimed they cannot prove who used CWs in Douma. The OPCW have claimed they found CWs, but, have no idea where they are from, with regards the Skripals. Russia had been saying for the last month, it was expected and they would be blamed. Russia has also firmly told the US and friends, what they will receive, if they come under attack. How would the US, France and UK, handle telling their electorate, why their planes, submarines and naval fleets, that were illegally attacking Syria, are lying on the sea bed, or in the desert, fish and vulture food and entertainment for the marine, or wild life? When the electorate is fully aware, that Russia kept warning what the response would be. Even the MSM were commenting on that, believing they were laughing at Russia. Not a good look, when mid-term and council elections are coming up, now is it?

No Final Decision on US Response to Syria, Still Assessing Intel - White House
21:00 GMT 12.04.2018 (Updated: 21:34 GMT 12.04.2018) WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - President Donald Trump has not yet made a decision on how to respond to the alleged chemical attack against civilians in Syria and is still looking at the intelligence information, White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement on Thursday.
"President Trump just finished a meeting with his National Security team to discuss the situation in Syria. No final decision has been made. We are continuing to asses [sic] intelligence and are engaged in conversations with our partners and allies," Sanders said on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, Trump tweeted that he never said when an attack on Syria would take place in response to the alleged chemical attack, and an attack could be soon or not soon at all.
The tweet was markedly different from another message Trump issued via Twitter a day before in which he said Russia should get ready for new and "smart" missiles that will be coming to Syria. The US president also criticized Russia for partnering with a "gas killing animal," referring to Syrian President Bashar Assad.
On Saturday, several Syrian opposition online news portals reported — citing militants — that the Syrian government forces used chlorine in the city of Duma and killed up to 70 people.
The Syrian government denied that it used chemical weapons, saying the alleged attack was staged by the terror group Jaish al-Islam to serve as pretext for possible external intervention in Syria.
The Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria on Sunday categorically refuted the reports of a chemical weapons attack in Duma. The Center's representatives visited the place of the alleged attack and questioned local doctors, who said that they had not received individuals with symptoms of chemical poisoning.
