Hug Me Please: Spider Crab Cuddles Camera

The spider crabs were passing by minding their own business when a diver began capturing them on video.

Melbourne marine photographer PT Hirschfield, who uploads videos to YouTube under the moniker Pink Tank Scuba, have recently posted a video with a very curious spider crab that turned out to be a cuddle lover. The diver had encountered the crab in Port Phillip, Australia. The spider crab had begun to chase the camera and stopped only when it hugged it. Whether it was a move made out of loneliness or a hunting trick remains unknown.
