Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) have announced that helicopters had spotted the wreckage of the missing Aseman Airliner that crashed with 66 people aboard in the country's mountainous southwest.
According to ISNA news agency, citing the local branch of the Red Crescent, first bodies of victims of the plane crash have been found.
"The groups of the Red Crescent and army units are at the site of the plane crash. They have found the bodies of the victims," the agency quoted Morteza Salimi, head of Relief & Rescue Organization of the Iranian Red Crescent, as saying.

On Monday, a source in the Iranian Transportation Ministry told Sputnik that some debris from the plane was found near Dangazloo in Isfahan.

An Iranian Aseman Airlines plane crashed near the city of Semirom on Sunday. According to preliminary data, all 60 passengers and six crew members on board were reportedly killed. The plane, which was flying from Tehran to the southwestern city of Yasuj, went off the grid after around 50 minutes following takeoff.
