Modern Story of Good Samaritans

Several moose became trapped in an ice-covered lake while crossing it. The thin crystal cover just cracked under their weight and and shattered.

Wyoming residents came to the aid of the unfortunate fellows: using a chainsaw, axes and shovels they broke the ice around the trapped guys, carefully holding them and calming them down.

This is a story with a happy ending: the rescuers managed to save all of the moose by combining their efforts.
