After signing a Space Act Agreement with NASA, Uber announced they would be releasing an air taxi service by 2020 in select cities.

If you think commercial drones are a nuisance, hold on tight! Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles and Dubai have been named target cities for Uber's project "Elevate." This proposal takes Uber's ride-sharing business model to the skies and would allow customers to avoid automobile traffic via air taxi.

While this idea could cut down on road traffic and make travel more efficient, the idea of increased aircraft activity raises a multitude of issues, such as the cyber security associated with air traffic control.

Would you fly Uber?
