Google News aggregator has deleted all news of a Russian online outlet allegedly in connection to materials about Syria.

ST PETERSBURG (Sputnik) — The Federal News Agency, a Russian online outlet is considering a legal case against the Russian branch of the US-based company, as there was no official response from Google the outlet's protest, a representative of the agency told Sputnik on Thursday.

"We have been blocked. The whole archive of the Federal News Agency's articles has been deleted from Google News," the representative said.

The representative of the news agency linked the actions of Google News to the fact that "someone does not like the truth that our correspondents working in Syria were showing."

The outlet's website claims that all of its news stopped appearing in the Google aggregator on October 27. The news agency has called it "political censorship, benefiting the US government in order to limit the spread of information about the fight against international terrorism."
