The eye-opening moment many Apple gadget users found out that their smartphones have been assembling revealing pics and lingerie selfies in one folder.

A standard photo app on iPhones can identify objects in the pictures and categorize photos automatically into groups locally on the device. The system allows searching for particular images in the gallery using keywords that determine the content: "dog," "smile," "tree," "person"… and even "brassiere."

This feature has been available since June 2016, when image recognition was introduced with iOS 10, but has been brought to the attention of many oblivious users just recently, triggering an online avalanche of reactions.

Some people were concerned by the fact that "brassiere" is a category at all.

A lot of users immediately checked if that worked on their phones and shared their outcome on Twitter.

But some results were quite unexpected.
