A convertible sports car, once featured in the James Bond movie, The World Is Not Enough, before being bought by former Apple boss, is set to go under the hammer.

Steve Jobs — who died in 2011 — owned the Bond-driven BMW Z8 for three years before selling it to the current owner, who is expected to realize an estimated US$400,000 as the vehicle will be auctioned at RM Sotheby's in New York on Wednesday, December 6.

It is not the first time, however, that a car that has starred in a movie has been sold for big money.
