The myths associated with Glastonbury Tor, Britain, are extraordinary. It has been called a magic mountain, a faeries' glass hill, a spiral castle, the Grail castle. The Tor has been called "The Isle of Avalon" and since the Middle Ages has been believed to be the Avalon of the King Arthur legend. The legendary king is believed to be buried there.

The Pidhirtsi Castle is famous around Ukraine for the ghost of the "white lady" who is believed to be the wife of one of the owners of the castle, who allegedly murdered his spouse out of jealousy on one of the walls of the building. Now her ghost allegedly walks around the castle, knocking the marble floors with her high-heeled shoes.

A villa on the island of Gaiola in Italy is believed to be a cursed place, as all of its residents either went to a psychiatric hospital or jail, or died under mysterious circumstances. Local people there avoid going to the island and even tourists don't dare to visit the place.

The Beelitz-Heilstätten hospital near Berlin once used to be the best health resort in Germany. However, after WWII it was controlled by the Soviet Union and was eventually abandoned. Now only curious tourists come here, according to whom, one can still find letters from soldiers, as well as hear strange sounds.

The Chillingham Castle in the UK was originally a monastery in the late 12th century. It attracts tourists from around the world who are eager to see the most haunted castle in Britain. The most famous ghost of the castle is the "blue (or radiant) boy", who according to the owners used to haunt the Pink Room in the castle. Guests supposedly reported seeing blue flashes and a blue "halo" of light above their beds after a loud wail.

The Valley of Mills in Italy dates back to 900 AD and was a grain mill, spring waters coming from the hill supplied the energy to run the mill. It was too hot in the area where it sat for the women to work long hours milling grain so it was abandoned 1866. Many local legends surround the place with many calling a mill a part of another world. Many people see a mystical light and hear an ominous laugh there.
